Your Right to Opt Out
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the "CCPA"), California residents have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of their personal information.
Sierra Nevada Investment Management, LLC ("SNIM") does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. However, our use of certain advertising and analytics tools, such as the LinkedIn Insight Tag, may be considered "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CCPA.
What "Sell" and "Share" Mean
Under the CCPA:
"Sell" means selling, renting, releasing, disclosing, disseminating, making available, transferring, or otherwise communicating personal information to a third party for monetary or other valuable consideration.

Internet or other electronic network activity (such as browsing history on the Site)
Inferences drawn from the above to create a profile reflecting preferences and behaviors

We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a valid opt-out request for the browser and device on which the signal is received.
Verification
We do not require you to verify your identity to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. However, if your request involves additional rights (such as the right to know or delete), we may need to verify your identity before fulfilling the request.
Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We will require written proof of the agent's authorization and may require you to verify your own identity directly.
Non-Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising your right to opt out. You will continue to receive the same level of service and access to the Site.
